Effective October 24, 2026. These terms apply to GovBot Community Designations at designations.govbot.ai, operated by Ideation Lab, Corp.

Permitted use

Use this read-only service for public-record research. No sign-in or purchase is required. Respect rate limits and the published terms of the agency services. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, disrupt the service or submit confidential information.

Source qualifications

Designations change by year; preserve the stated agency, service, layer, designation year or vintage and retrieval time when reusing results. USDA Rural Development layers show areas ineligible by population for each program. Opportunity Zone designations from 2018 use 2010 census tracts, and the 2027 eligibility list is not a designation. Geocoded positions are interpolated along street address ranges and are not parcel or building locations. An unmatched address or an unavailable source is not evidence about a designation.

Limits of the service

A designation is not a program eligibility determination or an award. Program rules, applications and final determinations are with the administering agency. The service does not provide legal advice. Records are provided as available without a guarantee of completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular decision. GovBot is not affiliated with or endorsed by HUD, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Treasury, the Census Bureau or any government agency. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
